The Victorian Government supports Infoxchange’s work with the Dili Institute of Technology to improve information technology skills in Timor-Leste. The Victorian Government is committed to providing many forms of assistance to the people of Timor-Leste, with a focus on public sector capacity building. From traineeships in Victorian agencies, to sporting and medical equipment, to agricultural training, the Victorian Government is trying to enhance the quality of life in this new democracy.

Dili Institute of Technology
Dili Institute of Technology (DIT) is a non-government, community-based, non-profit education provider created to deliver vocational training and higher education in East Timor targeting the training needs of youth, veterans of the resistance and the children of veterans as well as specific community needs. It is committed to delivering high quality, post-secondary vocational training and higher education that will assist the nation in developing a workforce capable of meeting the growing demands of the business, public service and community sectors.

Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE
NMIT is one of the largest and most successful government funded providers of tertiary education and vocational education and training in Australia. NMIT is a multi campus, multi discipline TAFE which delivers diverse training programs to a range of young and mature aged students.

Xanana Vocational Education Trust
The Xanana Vocational Education Trust helps create a self sustaining vocational education system for Timor-Leste which meets the needs of the people. The Trust aims to help East Timorese people create a future for their new nation by generating economic activity through basic vocational training. The Trusts raises funds for distribution to approved organisations or individuals in East Timor for the purpose of developing a vocational education system contributing to productive employment outcomes.

The ATA (Alternative Technology Association)
The ATA is Australia's leading not-for-profit organisation, promoting sustainable technology and practice. The ATA provides services to members who are actively walking the talk in their own homes by using good building design, conserving water and using renewable energy. ATA advocates in government and industry arenas for easy access to these technologies as well as continual improvement of the technology, information and products needed to change the way we live. ATA also offers advice on conserving energy, building with natural materials, reusing, reducing the use of and recycling natural resources.
